Friends Pioneer

The Goats we distributed are all well. We treat them at times when some are sick.
The project are slowly but steady developing. The next step would be to build a borehole for the fodder, so that we can gurantee the safety of the animals even during the drought. We are now looking for funds, to finance drilling the borehole.

We have learned a lesson here during this long dry season: If we had bought Dairy Goats then we would have lost them all.
There was lack of water to water the small garden of Fodder. This is the reason why we decided to start with the local Goats first!

Nyalenda Football Cup was taking place in the end of 2008. Children from many organisations joined. The idea was to, in a fun way, started more collaboration between the many CBOs in Nyalenda.

The internet café has taken the face  of  nyalenda to the next level, now that people can browse from their door step and communicate all over the world, I think people are now realizing that the world is a global village and they are in the processes of achieving millennium goals!
