A POULTRY FARM

A poultry farm may be located at the organization center in Nyalenda. The land is already available, as well as the skills of poultry farming. Friends Pioneer proposes to carry out this venture all year around because poultry meat would be needed by most of the restaurants. The group will buy the most effective pesticides, insectides and other chemicals for spraying in order to minimise losses attributable diseases attacks. Based on our previous experience we are aware of the most effective and less costly chemical inputs and we believe we can eliminate the threat posed by diseases. Friends Pioneer has wide and extensive knowledge of the poultry market and its dynamics. This knowledge will help the group minimise the risks associated with price variations (fluctuations). We will make an effort of exploring new untapped markets in addition to the existing ones. This money will be wisely used to better the operations of Friends Pioneer youth group.
