Friends Pioneer

In 2007 we started to plan an internet café in the busy junction Kilo in the slum area Nyalenda in Kisumu.

During July 2008 we got the container that was going to be the home for the café, we placed it right in the junction Kilo, a buzzeling place in the beginning of Nyalenda.

It took many, many hours to get the container from one place to on other, many time it was on its way off the truck!

But finally!

We took help from the same streetkids that helped us painting TipTop school.

Already 2007 we recievd the first donated laptope, in 2008 we bought a container for the purpose. Now 2009 the intenet café is up and running.

 We have a lot of ideas for the cafe´: Computer for Schools and ICT etc.
