Friends Pioneer is based in Kisumu. Basically it is one person Joseph who has engaged parents and other persons to help children 4-16 in age.
In Sweden we have a network of 100 persons who support Friends Pioneer. Approximately 1000 000 kes annually is collected to directly sponsoring the school fees and food for approx 100 children. Friends Pioneer have created many small scale projects that are almost sustainable:
Guest house
IT cafe
school for 4-7
school for 16-18
school for 8-15 planned
and other …

I suggest that you try to start something similar in Kibera. We can assist with contacts and information.
